11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: In this study, we introduce q-CaRS problem and 2 metaheristic generation algorithm(GA) are generate and Ant colony optimization algorithms(ACO). The q-CaRS problem is an extended of Traveling Saleman which associated with rental car fee between each city. Each city has a satisfied value and a place to rent a car. The purpose of the alogrithm is get the lowest moving fee and ensure the customer’s satisfaction . After propose the mathematical model for the problem, we will introduce how 2 methods addressed above resolve the problem. The steps for solving of each algorithm are clearly presented. GA algorithm presented: chromosome representation, genetic operators, Local Search Procedures. ACO algorithm presented:

graph structure, heuristic information, Pheromone update

Finally, program is written for two methods. The program is run with a fixed number of iterations, the statistics include the best result, the average result, and the corresponding processing time. From the statistics table, the ACO algorithm yielded much better results in terms of both quality and processing time.

Thus, in addition to GA algorithm, ACO algorithm has been introduced to solve the problem. From experimental results, ACO algorithm yielded better results.
