Summary

2-isopropoxyethanol and p-hydroxybenzyi alcohol were synthetized from ready-available, simple matenats for use as substantial materials in synthesis of the antihypertensive drug bisoprolol. The pmcess was optimized by Software MODDE 5.0 for stability, simplicity and suitability for domestic preparation.

Keywords: 2-lsopropoxyethanol, Isopropyl bromid, p-hydroxybenzylic, Bisoprolol, Antihypertensive.
