Abstract

FORMULATION OF A MOISTURIZING CREAM CONTAINING QUERCETIN Tran Quoc Hung*, Nguyen Hong Tran^

Many natural compound studies have shown the antioxidant and anti-UV capabilities of Quercetin. The scope of this study was to design an optimal Quercetin cream which can prevent or freat skin agmg. Materials and methods: Selecting the base ingredient, emutsifymg agent, stabilizing agent, based on stability, homogeneity, smooth, ability to release quercetin, and assessment of the anti- UV strength of the product. The process of preparation was completed and evaluated the quality standards built. Result: The formulated product complies with pharmaceutical manufacturing standards, Products claiming UVA protection had effectiveness. Conclusion: The study achieved to prepare moisturing cream containing Quercetin.
