Mau nghien c d u cao hac phy, cao bgch phu, cao phy t d cho thd u i n g lieu 60 mg/kg/ngdy (lieu tu'Q'ng d u o n g vdi l i i u dung d ngu'di) trong 4 tuan liin, t i t ca cac chf so theo doi v i chdc nang gan, chdc ndng than va md benh hQC gan. thdn d i u nam trong gidi hgn binh thu'dng, khong cd s y khde biet rd ret so vdi Id chdng. Khi eho thd u i n g cao hdc phu, cao bach phy, cao phy t d l i i u eao gap 5 l i n lieu thu'dng dOng tren ngu'di (300

mg/kg/ngdy) trong 4 tuan l i i n , tat ed cdc ehi so theo ddi ve ehdc ndng gan. chdc nang thdn vd md bgnh hpc thdn d i u nam trong gidi hgn binh thu'dng, khdng ed s y khac bigt rd rgt so vdi 16 chdng, nhu-ng trdn md bgnh hpc gan cd b i i u hign t i n thuong thodi hda nude, thoai hda hgt, thodi hda h i e nhe t i bdo gan.

Each separate individual extract, at the daily oral dose of 60 and 300mg/kg body weight in a course of 4 weeks on end, no changes were observed in the plasma levels of AST. ALT, bilirubin, albumin, cholesterol, and creatlnin in rabbits. After 28 consecutive days' administration of the extracts, no morphologic damages were seen on macroscopic organs and microscopic kidney images; but, on microscopic liver images, the liver cytolysis at various levels was seen in the group of rabbits given 300mg/kg body weight per day.
