Summary
This study addresses the impact of perceived supports, endogenous obstacles on entrepreneurial behavioral intention to start a business. The study conducted a survey of 826 female students at four universities in Hanoi and used stmctrural equation model (SEM) analysis to test hypotheses. The results show that support from family and relatives is the most important factor that shapes the behav- ioral intention of starting a business for female stu- dents. Perceived institutional support
has a positive effect while endogenous obstacles have a negative effect on female students' behav- ioral intention to start a business. For university sup- port activities, the statistically significant influence on behavioral intention comes from training courses on entrepreneiuship. Based on these results, discus- sions and policy recommendations were presented in the paper to promote female entrepreneurship choice.
