Ld tn 1: udng thudc thir TMSLH lidu 2,4ml/kg/ngay (13,6g/kg/ngay tuang d u a n g vdi lidu dung cho ngudi, tinh theo he sd 4).

Ld tri 2: udng thudc thir TMSLH lieu 7,2 ml/kg/ngay (40,8g/kg/ngay - g I p 3 l i n lidu d Id trj 1).

TMSLH lieu 2,4ml/kg (13,6g/kg/ngdy - tuang duang lieu dung tren ngudi) vd lieu 40,8g/kg/ngay g I p 3 l i n (7,2ml/kg) khdng gdy anh hudng ddn tinh trang ehung, s u tang trpng lugng cua the va chuc nang tap mdu khi cho thd udng lien tuc trong 4 t u l n .

Summary

"Thong mach so lac hoan" extract for treatment of cerebral infarction after the acute period was evaluated for the effects on haematopoietic function. The extract was administered by oral route to rabbits at doses of 2.4ml and 7.2ml/kg b.w./day for 4 weeks. All the animals survived with no significant changes in general signs, growth and hematological examinations (red blood cell count, hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean corpuscular volume, white blood cell count, leukocyte formula and platelet count). "Thong mach so lac hoan" extract exhibited no effects on the constitution, growth and haematopoietic function In rabbits by oral administration.
