OPTIMIZING THE EXTRACTION AND EWESTIGATEVG THE ANTIBACTERIAL, ANTIOXIDANT EFFECTS Of HOUTTUYNIA CORDATA
Summary
The study investigates efficiency of the extract obtained from fish mint [Houttuynia cordata) nder different conditions, and its extract's antibacterial, antioxidant The results show that with 96°
thanol, under 2 hours of extraction, at temperature 50°C the extrachon is most efficient The obtained xtract can resist Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa at average level in xperimental conditions. Also, it can resit oxidants at average level (ICJQ= 62.23 7mg/ml) m comparahon rtth the control sample of vitamin C {iC^ 13i.'ilA mg/ml) under different expenmental concentrations.
