SUMMARY

BclA protein is a glycoprotein which appropriate large prapotion and location at the end of each filament of the hair-like nap on £.

anthracis spore coat. They perform an important fiinction in enhancing heat resistance to protease, enhances adhesion of spores to the host cell. BcL\ has been identified which may cause a strong immune response lo ttie host cell. The purification of natural protein of spores IS difScult, hence there are studies which have used recombinant BclA protein in generating polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. In this smdy, we used the recombinant CTD of BclA protem to mduce an immune response in 6-8 week-old mice BALB/c. After 60 days of immunization, antibody titer by ELISA reached to 5000. Purified polyclonal antibodies concentration were 2 mg/ml. Immunogenicity of the recombmant protein was assessed by the binding ability of antibodies with natural protein hy ELISA assay and Westem blot.
