Pleiku City Tax Department has always made continuous efforts to complete the budget revenue estimates; however, there are some limitations in the management and operation of this revenue. The main reason comes from the structure of internal control system that has not been closely linked and promoted its inherent effects. This study uses quantitative method to provide proper solutions regarding five elements of internal control system in relation to the management of value-added tax at the aforementioned public unit.
