With reference to the Department's everummbered minute of the 23rd September l ast, on the above subject , attached for your in.formation is a copy of Proclamation No . 156 of the 1st Novem=>er , 1935 , issued by the Ca;>e Provincial Administration to limit the capture of whales
in the Antarctic during the coming season to the period December 1st to March the 31st next .
The Department is advised by the Natal Provincial Administration that the question of talcing
similar action in that Province will be considered by
the Executive Committee on the 21st instant .
