In the opinion of the author of this study, Africa (n 1), Pan-African 2 or Afrocentric 3 (it should be noted from the outset that such concepts will be used interchangeably throughout the course of this thesis, but the author of this study, holds the view that, contrary to what is commonly held, which probably suggests that what these concepts are involved in, only on their simplified/unproblematized level, they can presumably refer to a specific group of people, who may subscribe , the same identity or ideology). It is the intention of the author of this study, that based on the relation of IR (as a sub-discipline or sub-field of IR), a detailed definition of Political Science (as presented below), hopefully, is much needed. help. The hope of the author of this study is that skeptics, who previously were not convinced that Philosophy was related to Political Science, will reconsider their position. And yet in today's world this is only one of the major concerns of this discipline (Burchill, 1996:9).
