The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) wishes to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver the game for the Mafu CPA in support of Buffelskraal farm in collaboration with Amabal'engwe game farm near Albertina, Hessequa Local Municipality, Garden Route District municipality in the Western Cape Province.
The farm was grazed by animals brought from the Eastern Cape and taken back to Kwanonqaba and other places in the Eastern Cape during dry periods. The service provider must be a reputable wildlife supplier in the industry and must have an accredited industry credential. The service provider must act in accordance with the applicable legislation, in accordance with the norms and standards of the industry.
On delivery of animals they will be inspected for age and health as well as a certificate of inspection. Payment will be made after a successful delivery according to the above specifications within 30 days of submission of invoice as agreed by the Project Manager. Failure to comply with the requirements and submit the required documents along with the proposal will automatically disqualify the bidder's proposal.
The functionality evaluation will be evaluated individually by the members of the Bid Evaluation Committee in accordance with the following functionality criteria and values. Company experience: the company's experience in a wildlife industry related to game, as well as its transportation and distribution. Cover the proposed scope of work involving wildlife animals in the game industry as well as the transport of wildlife from anywhere in South Africa to the Western Cape (near Albertinia) and how the transport and distribution of wild animals will be carried out. wildlife including arrival at destination; Proposed transportation and distribution schedule/contingency plan with clear milestones and timelines for each task (transportation of various game animals) to be completed.
Flexibility in customer service in terms of turnaround time regarding the resolution of problems that may arise during the execution of the contract, i.e. a proposal scoring less than 60 out of 100 will be considered a proposal submission/ bid that does not respond will be disqualified. .
