Having a family with a business, I have been exposed to business issues and challenges from an early age. Working at Car trimmer & Upholsterers involved going into industry with motor vehicle mechanics, panel beaters and upholsterers to provide services to customers. My task included customer relation management, employee development, and delivery of vehicles to customers. I gained experience in dealing with both customers and employees which I enjoyed as I got more responsible. This taught me planning skills, leadership and most importantly communication skills.
My experience as a tutor and temporary teacher gave me an insight of the cultural diversity and hence the ability to make better decisions when faced with various situations. In addition, my interpersonal, leadership and communication skills have also been enriched.
