Complete farm feed and complete feed for livestock have the same meaning;. complete pet food" means a food for companion animals which contains all the necessary nutrients in the correct amounts and proportions for a given physiological need of the animal, as recognized by the Registrar, and which meets the total daily nutritional requirements of a pet. Applications for renewal received after 30 April will be considered lapsed and the same registration may be resumed or a new application for registration of the respective pet food shall be made in accordance with regulation 2. In the case of complementary, complementary and concentrated feed for animals containing any feedstuff that exceeds the maximum content specified for that basic feed in relation to the complete feed mixture from the farm in the applicable annex to the general guidelines for feed on the farm, the instructions for use shall indicate, according to the type and age of the animal, the maximum amount of feed in grams or kilograms to be given per animal per day, and shall be formulated in such a way that, if properly observed, the final content of the basic legal remedy does not exceed so determined maximizes it.
