N Thursday, the 10th inst., Rabbi Schwartz was at Colesberg and ad- dressed an enthusiastic gathering of the community at the residence of Dr. Cooper, who presided. At the ca.nclusion of the ad- dress refreshments were served and a plea- sant evening was spent by all present. In the conduct of the campaign Rabbi Schwartz has the as3istance of Dr. Cooper, Mr. Kap-lan and Mrs. Daniller. During his stay in Colesberg he was the guest of Mr. Kaplan.

The fine example set by Colesberg and Middelburg was well emulated by the other centre in thP Cape Midlands visited by Rabbi Schwartz. The reports of the cam- paign in these centres will appear in a later issue.

The present holder of of the title, Jimmy McGrory, will defend his title against Willie Smith, the idol of the South African boxing ring. An atlrac- t1ve and thrilling contest is anticipated.
There will be a number of interesting preliminaries, and the City Hall should be crowded on this historic occasion.
