New::\ has been received by cal1lc that Hay ~chaud ·r, daughter of Councillor and MI'S. A. Schauder, of Port Eliza- beth, has passed her final examjnation in medicine at Kinµ;':-, College Hospital, London.
Dr. Schauder received her early education at the Collegiate, Port Elizabeth, and the Wynberg Girls' High School. She has the distinction of being the first Port Elizabeth Jewish girl to take a medical degree. Dr. Schaud r is returning home on the "·warwick Castle," which left England on the 7th in~t.

The pole-holders wer M ssrs. J. Rloom, H. Bootcov, J. Goldman and R. Nathan. Mr. S. Berman carried out the duties of bei:it man. Th' l,rid was given away by her brother, Mr. II. Ber- man. The maid-of-honour was Miss Goldie Berman, anrl the bridesmaids were l\liss Fay Zolty and Miss Gertrude Wade.

The City Hall in Johannesburg: was prettily decor- ated in white and blue, on Wednesday night, on the occasion of the first Transvaal Judean cabaret, organised by the Transvaal and East Hand Young Israel Executive.
