THE S.A. JEWISH CHRONICLE hould be payable half annually or annually in advance, and memberR are now being called upon to pay their subscription:.

In September the Executive ornmittee po. ted an appeal to all member~ and a number re- :ponded by paying their anear H1b criptions, but th appeal was not answered a:-- fully a. was exp cted.

Dui-ing December the Finance Committee undertook a Collect- ing campaign and again the

re~ult attained wa~ in:..:ufficient to place the Guild on the sound financial basis which the out- standing subscription:-; justi~ed.
