Le,vis, led the motion for Boksburg. The subject was very well thra hed out, many of the auclience taking part in the discussion. The motion wa won, and we eongratulate Mis~ F. S"'il on the able mnnner in which she conducted her part of the debate. An enjoyable ,ocial evening \Vas spent at the residence of i\Ii . I sermL The Johannesburg Young Lrael ociety thank Boksburg for their cordial reception, and anti- cipates the time in the nea1 future when they in their turn will entertam the Boksburg society.

The committee is making trenuou ffort to fulfil the promise of the donation made by our society to the Keren Hayesocl. For this purpo e a . ocial will be held at the residence of :\Ir. A. Couzin, 4.2, Berea Road, Bertrams, on Wedne day, the 7th March, at 8 p.rn. There \Vill be a concert progrnmrne, dancing, aJso ping-pong and other amusement. . The admi ion wi11 be 2s. 6d., and tickets are obtainable from all eommittee members.
