B. Saran
3. Bagi Peneliti Selanjutnya
Terdapat dua metode pengukuran status identitas, yaitu kuesioner dan wawancara terstruktur. Peneliti memilih menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur status identitas dalam penelitian ini. Seperti dikatakan oleh beberapa ahli bahwa kelemahan kuesioner dibanding wawancara adalah kurang mendalamnya data yang diperoleh. Menggunakan kuesioner juga memungkinkan responden menjawab dengan tidak jujur atau serius, hal yang lebih kecil kemungkinan terjadi apabila menggunakan wawancara terstruktur. Ada juga kemungkinan responden kurang teliti dalam mengerjakan kuesioner. Oleh karena itu peneliti menyarankan penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan dengan wawancara terstruktur agar mendapatkan hasil status identitas yang lebih tepat.
Cakupan penelitian ini juga hanya pada karyawan DLBS dengan status identitas kategori identity achievement, yaitu sebanyak 48 orang. Keterbatasan subjek ini dapat diperbaiki oleh peneliti

selanjutnya dengan melakukan penelitian dengan jumlah subjek lebih banyak dan berasal dari organisasi yang lebih beragam.
Selain itu peneliti hanya memilih 7 dari 10 aspek identitas menurut Santrock (2011) dengan memilih aspek dengan korelasi aitem total yang tinggi saja, dan menggugurkan 3 aspek identitas dengan korelasi aitem total rendah. Metode pemilihan aspek ini dapat diperbaiki dengan metode analisis faktor karena dengan analisis faktor dapat diketahui dengan lebih jelas pengelompokan dan keterkaitan tiap aspek. Dengan demikian aspek yang dipilih benar-benar memiliki korelasi antar aspek yang lebih baik.
