1.10.7 Efikasi Secara Pengajaran Koperatif
Efikasi adalah kepercayaan seseorang terhadap kebolehan dirinya untuk melakukan sesuatu (Bandura, 2003). Sojung Seo dan Hyunkjun (2013) menjelaskan konsep keyakinan sebagai perasaan jaminan diri iaitu perasaan bahawa beberapa tugas mungkin boleh disempurnakan melalui pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang dimiliki, tanpa perlu minta bantuan daripada orang lain. Dalam konteks kajian ini, efikasi pengajaran guru bermaksud kepercayaan seseorang guru terhadap kebolehan beliau dalam melaksanakan pengajaran koperatif dengan memfokuskan kepada penglibatan murid, pengurusan kelas dan pencapaian murid di dalam kelasnya.

Bab ini menjelaskan latar belakang kajian berkaitan disposisi pemikiran kritis dan sikap, persepsi, efikasi secara pengajaran koperatif dalam kalangan guru PPKI. Bab ini menerangkan secara terperinci pernyataan masalah, objektif kajian, persoalan kajian, hipotesis, kepentingan kajian, limitasi kajian serta definisi operasi.
