H. Teknik Penulisan Daftar Pustaka
I. Format Penulisan Daftar Pustaka
3. Format Penulisan Vancouver (Author-Number Style)
Cara menulis daftar pustaka dengan metode Vancouver ini sedikit
berbeda dengan metode Harvard. Letak perbedaan sangat jelas. Dan
kebanyakan sitasi jurnal ilmiah mengacu kepada cara menulis daftar
pustaka dengan metode Vancouver. Metode penulisan daftar pustaka
yang mengikuti metode Harvard mayoritas diikuti oleh penulis karya
tulis ilmiah, seperti skripsi, makalah, tesis dan karya tulis ilmiah lainnya. Secara umum juga mengikuti cara menulis daftar pustaka yang sudah umum bahkan tidak mengikuti kedua metode tersebut, metode Harvard dan Vancouver.
Sistem Vancouver menggunakan cara penomoran (pemberian
angka) yang berurutan untuk menunjukkan rujukan pustaka. Dalam daftar pustaka, pemunculan sumber rujukan dilakukan secara berurut menggunakan nomor sesuai kemunculannya sebagai sitasi dalam naskah tulisan, sehingga memudahkan pembaca untuk menemukannya dibandingkan dengan cara pengurutan secara alfabetis menggunakan
nama penulis seperti dalam sistem Harvard. Sistem ini beserta

Adapun langkah-langkah yang dapat ditempuh dalam cara menulis daftar pustaka dengan metode Vancouver adalah sebagai berikut:
Menggunakan bullet angka.
Angka tersebut menjadi rujukan dalam sitasi sebuah karya
tulis yang dibuat.
Nomor rujukan (referensi) yang ada di dalam karya tulis itu
harus sama dengan urutan penulis yang ada dalam daftar pustaka.
Tidak perlu mengurutkan tahun publikasi tulisan.
Nama tidak perlu diurutkan berdasarkan alfabetis.
Daftar pustaka yang mengikuti gaya penulisan Vancouver dapat
dilihat pada contoh sebagai berikut :

4. Format Penulisan Turabian
Ketentuan gaya penulisan Daftar Pustaka Turabian adalah
sebagai berikut :
a) Daftar Pustaka diketik spasi tunggal;
b) Jarak antara entri judul adalah satu spasi;
c) Baris pertama setiap entri rata kiri dan baris berikutnya
lebih masuk lima karakter.

Nama pengarang paling belakang. Nama pengarang paling depan. Judul (ditulis miring). Tempat terbit: nama penerbit, tahun terbit.

jenis berdasarkan golongan ilmu, yaitu humanities style dan scientific
style. American Psychological Association (APA) merupakan contoh

Sumber yang dikutip dalam uraian/teks harus ditulis lengkap dalam daftar pustaka. Sebaliknya, sumber yang terdaftar dalam daftar pustaka harus ditulis dalam teks sebagai kutipan.
Beberapa ciri gaya penulisan sitiran dari APA Styles adalah:
Daftar pustaka diurutkan alfabetis berdasarkan nama belaka
ng penulis atau judul apabila tidak ada penulis.
Nama depan penulis ditulis sebagai inisial.
Apabila ada penulis sama dalam daftar pustaka ditulis berur
utan tahun yang paling lama.
Bisa ditambahkan huruf a, b, c setelah tahun.
Nama penulis ditulis nama keluarga/nama belakang terlebih dahulu, kecuali nama Cina, Jepang, Korea, karena nama keluarga sudah di awal. Contoh :

Penulisan : Kwik Kian Gie.
Nama : Heribertus Andi Mattalata.
Penulisan : Mattalata, Heribertus Andi.

Pada format APA, huruf pertama dari judul karya atau judul tambahan ditulis dengan huruf kapital. Pada format MLA huruf kapital digunakan pada setiap awal kata dari judul karya (kecuali kata sandang).
Baris kedua setiap sumber ditulis dengan jarak 5 ketuk/spasi dari margin kiri baris pertama dengan jarak antar baris 1,5 spasi. Daftar diurutkan berdasarkan abjad nama keluarga/nama belakang dengan jarak 1,5 spasi.

8. Format Penulisan American Medical Association (AMA)
AMA Styles merupakan format yang dikembangkan oleh American Medical Association (AMA). Format ini banyak digunakan untuk penulisan dalam bidang kesehatan, biologi dan kedokteran. Berbeda dengan model APA dan MLA, model AMA
tidak menuliskan nama penulis secara „terbalik‟.
Ciri AMA Styles adalah:
a. Semua item dalam daftar pustaka didaftar berdasarkan uruta
n numerik.
b. Penulisan penulis ditulis nama belakang terlebih dahulu
kemudian nama depan ditulis inisial saja dan tidak perlu menggunakan koma di antara nama belakang dan depan.
c. Penggunaan spasi tunggal dalam daftar pustaka.

Format : Penulis. Judul. Tempat Terbit: Penerbit, Tahun. (penulis ditulis nama akhir diikuti inisial nama depan).
