4. Erupsi Gunung Kelud, Jawa Timur Sejak hari pertama erupsi Gunung Kelud, BRI Peduli telah mengirimkan bantuan kemanusiaan bagi korban bencana. Bantuan berupa makanan cepat saji, sembako, selimut, susu bayi, perlengkapan bayi, obat-obatan, masker, tenda dan barang-barang kebutuhan sehari-hari lainnya.
Bantuan juga diberikan pasca-erupsi Gunung Kelud, melalui pipanisasi air bersih, lampu solar cell dan perbaikan taman air mancur Simpang Lima Gumul (SLG) di Kota Kediri. Bantuan lain adalah pembagian 375 paket sembako kepada warga di Dusun Lemahjungkur, Desa Keniten, Kecamatan Mojo.
5. Bencana Tanah Longsor Banjarnegara, Jawa Tengah
BRI Peduli mendirikan dua posko tanggap darurat di Desa Karangkobar dan Desa Laksana, untuk membantu korban bencana tanah longsor di Dusun Jemblung, Desa Sampang, Kecamatan Karangkobar, Kabupaten Banjarnegara, Jawa Tengah. BRI Peduli
bekerjasama dengan RS Ngesti Waluyo Parakan dan RS dr Muwardi Solo, untuk melayani para pengungsi. Selain itu juga diberikan bantuan kemanusiaan berupa makanan cepat saji, biskuit, selimut, susu siap minum, perlengkapan bayi, tenda, obat obatan dan barang barang kebutuhan sehari hari lainnya. BRI Peduli juga memberikan bantuan kepada pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) yang menjadi korban bencana banjir di Jakarta. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan pendataan dan selanjutnya pelaku UMKM yang menjadi korban banjir diberikan hibah bantuan kebutuhan usaha, dengan besar berkisar dari Rp500 ribu hingga Rp5 juta. Bantuan yang diberikan tidak berbentuk uang tunai, namun meliputi fasilitas penunjang usaha seperti kompor gas dan peralatan, gerobak usaha, tenda maupun sarana penunjang lainnya. Tercatat hampir 100 pengusaha mikro BRI yang menjadi korban banjir di Jakarta telah menerima bantuan yang diberikan. Mereka terdiri dari pelaku UMKM di Bukit Duri, Johar Baru, Tanjung Priok, Grogol, Pluit, Bekasi, Marunda, Bendungan Hilir, dan beberapa lokasi
4. Mount Kelud Eruption, East Java
Since the first day of the eruption of Mount Kelud, BRI Peduli had sent humanitarian aid to the disaster victims. The relief was in the form of instant food, foodstuff, blankets, baby milk, baby supplies, medicines, masks, tents and other daily necessities.
Relief was also given post-eruption of Mount Kelud, through clean water pipeline, solar cell lamps and repair of fountain garden of Simpang Lima Gumul (SLG) in Kediri City. Another relief was the distribution of 375 foodstuff packages to residents in Lemahjungkur Hamlet, Keniten Village, Mojo District.
5. Banjarnegara Landslide, Central Java
BRI Peduli set up two emergency coordination posts in Karangkobar and Laksana villages, to help victims of landslides in Jemblung Hamlet, Sampang Village, Karangkobar District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. BRI Peduli collaborated with Ngesti Waluyo Hospital in Parakan and dr Muwardi Hospital in Solo, to serve the evacuees. It also provided humanitarian aid in the form of instant food, biscuits, blankets, milk, baby supplies, tents, medicines and other daily necessities.
BRI Peduli also provided assistance to the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that became victims of floods in Jakarta. The program was carried out through data collection, then the MSMEs affected by the flood were given grant to support their business needs, with amount range from Rp500,000 to Rp5 million. The assistance was not provided in cash, but in the form of business support supplies such as gas stoves and other equipment, carts, tents and other support supplies. Nearly 100 micro businesses of BRI that were recorded to have become the victims of flood in Jakarta already received the assistance. They consisted of MSMEs in Bukit Duri, Johar Baru, Tanjung Priok, Grogol, Pluit, Bekasi, Marunda, Bendungan Hilir, and several other locations.

The MSMEs’ recovery would certainly support BRI’s sustainability performance. They will be able to continue their businesses thus guarantee the repayment of the loan that had been disbursed. The disaster occurred in a number of areas, recorded to contribute to the impact on BRI’s performance. Major flooding in Manado area, North Sulawesi has disrupted business operations of 925 customers with total loans of more than Rp58 billion. Similarly, eruption of Mount Sinabung in North Sumatra has resulted in more than 1,500 debtors have not been able to continue their businesses, with total loans reached more than Rp35 billion. To ease their burden, while helping to accelerate the recovery of their business operations, BRI conducted debt restructuring process.
Kebangkitan kembali pelaku UMKM tentunya akan mendukung kinerja keberlanjutan BRI. Mereka akan dapat meneruskan usaha sehingga menjamin pengembalian pinjaman yang telah disalurkan. Bencana yang terjadi di sejumlah daerah, tercatat ikut memberikan pengaruh pada kinerja BRI. Banjir besar di wilayah Menado, Sulawesi Utara telah menggangu kegiatan usaha 925 nasabah dengan total pinjaman lebih dari Rp58 miliar. Pun halnya bencana erupsi Gunung Sinabung, Sumatera Utara telah mengakibatkan lebih dari 1.500 debitur belum dapat melanjutkan usahanya, dengan total pinjaman mencapai lebih dari Rp35 miliar. Untuk meringankan beban mereka sekaligus membantu percepatan pemulihan kegiatan usaha, BRI melakukan proses restrukturisasi kredit.
