Remunerasi Karyawan
PT Petrokimia Gresik menerapkan perhitungan gaji karyawan secara professional dan kompetitif. Selain gaji, perusahaan memberikan tunjangan lain sebagai bagian dari rem unerasi kepada karyaw an, sepert i t u n jan g an h ari raya, t u n jan g an cu t i t ah u n an , t u n j an g an cu t i b esar (3 t ah u n an ), t u n j an g an pernikahan, bantuan pengobatan dan sebagainya. Nam un dem ikian ada perbedaan rem unerasi yang diterapkan pada karyawan, menurut status karyawan t et ap dan t idak t et ap (kont rak). Karyaw an t et ap mendapatkan seluruh fasilitas tunjangan dan insentif, sedangkan karyaw an t idak t et ap (kont rak), hanya m endapatkan fasilitas tunjangan hari raya, insentif triwulan, dan bantuan pengobatan disamping honor yang diterima tiap bulannya.

Persiapan Pensiun
PT Petrokimia Gresik memberikan tunjangan hari tua antara lain dalam bentuk m anfaat berkala hari tua, t ab u n g an h ari t u a, d an p elayan an keseh at an pensiunan (Prokespen). Pengelolaan dana pensiun dilakukan Perusahaan yang bekerjasam a dengan PT Asuransi Jiwasraya.
Selama tahun 2010, estimasi total pembayaran Premi Asuransi karyawan PT Petrokimia Gresik sebesar Rp 60,67 m ilyar. Kont ribusi karyaw an t erhadap dana pensiun adalah sebesar 18%, dengan rincian 13%
Employee Remuneration
PT Pet rokim ia Gresik applies t he professional and com p et it ive calculat ion for it s em p loyees’ salary. Besides salary, the company also gives other benefits as p art of t he em p loyee rem unerat ion such as allowance for feast day, allowance for yearly day off, allowance for big day off (every three year this day off might be taken), allowance for marriage, allowance fo r m ed ical care, et c. Yet , t h ere are d ifferen t remuneration systems being applied to employees b ased on t he em p loyee st at us t hat is for t hose p erm an en t em p loyees an d n on p erm an en t or contract workers. Permanent employees are provided with all facilities of allowances and incentives, whereas non permanent (contract) workers are only provided with allowance for feast day, quarterly incentives, and aids for m edical care ap art from t he w ages t hey receive every month.
For the applied remuneration system, PT Petrokimia Gresik determ ines the basic salary w hich relatively high compared with the standard of minimum wage. Besid es, t he com p any d oes not ap p ly d ifferent rem unerat ion syst em for t hose m an and w om an employees at all position levels.
Retirement Preparation
PT Pet rokim ia Gresik also provides benefit s for old ages such as old age allowance, old age saving, and retiree health service. The pension fund management is con d u ct ed in coop erat ion w it h PT Asu ran si Jiwasraya.

Pemahaman bersama tentang pentingnya K3 diatur sebagai salah satu bagian penting dalam dokumen Perjanjian Kerja Bersama (PKB) yang telah disepakati antara Perusahaan dan Serikat Karyawan Petrokimia Gresik (SKPG). Selain itu dalam rangka menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan sehat, perusahaan telah menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) sejalan dengan Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja No: PER.05/MEN/1996 tentang Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja.
