KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN

Kesimpulan yang dapat disimpulkan berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebagai berikut:

1. Emisi gas buang kapal di Selat Madura pada tanggal 1 Mei 2016 pukul 17.00 – 18.00 WIB berdasarkan data AIS dan metode Puget adalah

a. Nitrogen Oksida (NOx) = 845,23 kg b. Carbon Oksida (CO) = 67,35 kg c. Sulfur Dioksida (SO2) = 729,18 kg d. Particullar Matter (PM2,5) = 50,37 kg e. Carbon Dioksida (CO2) = 41.029 kg

2. Penerapan metode Puget dalam mengestimasikan gas buang kapal tidak menggunakan status navigasi kapal seperti melainkan berdasarkan load factor yang didapat dari perbandingan speed actual dan speed maximum kapal. Sehingga jika status navigasi kapal anchoring dengan speed actual kapal yang sebesar 0 akan menghasilkan load factor 0 juga. Load factor sebesar 0 tidak menghasilkan gas buang kapal secara hitungan. Namun, pada saat anchoring, auxiliary engine kapal bekerja dan menghasilkan emisi. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan kombinasi dengan metode lain.

3. Kecamatan dengan distribusi konsenstrasi emisi gas buang kapal di Selat Madura pada tanggal 1 Mei 2016 pukul 17.00 – 18.00 WIB berdasarkan data AIS dan metode Puget adalah Kecamatan Pabean Cantikan dengan konsentrasi emisi:

a. NOx = 9,06 x 102 µg/m3 b. CO = 4,67 x 101 µg/m3 c. SO2 = 4,26 x 102 µg/m3 d. PM2,5 = 2,98 x 101 µg/m3 e. CO2 = 2,55 x 104 µg/m3

4. Penggunaan aplikasi Hysplit dapat digunakan dalam mengestimasikan sebaran konsentrasi emisi gas buang kapal. Hasil dari perhitungan manual dengan rumus LPDM mendukung hasil konsentrasi emisi dari aplikasi Hysplit.

Saran kedepannya untuk mengembangkan penelitian ini antara lain sebagai berikut:

1. Melakukan penelitian dengan real-time sehingga dapat dianalisis pergerakan dispersi emisi gas buang kapal dan mengembangkan AIS ITS.

2. Data penelitian dikombinasi antara data AIS dan data lapangan seperti data pelabuhan agar jumlah kapal yang emisi gas buang diestimasikan dapat mendekati keadaan di lapangan.

3. Penelitian dapat dikembangkan dengan metode dispersi lain selain LPDM untuk mengetahui perbedaan sebaran emisi antar metode.

109 BIODATA PENULIS

Penulis memiliki nama lengkap Alphie Benhard Sori Mangapul Manullang. Penulis, yang merupakan anak kandung dari Bapak Ir. S. Manullang dan Ibu Ir. M. Hutajulu, lahir di Batam pada tanggal 11 April 1995. Penulis merupakan anak kedua dari dua bersardara. Saudari Penulis bernama Asri Beatricks M. Manullang, S.H., M.Kn. Penulis mengawali masa pendidikan SD di SD Swasta Yos Sudarso, Batam. Penulis melanjutkan pendidikan tingkat SMP di SMP Swasta Yos Sudarso, Batam. Pendidikan SMA penulis tempuh di SMA Swasta Yos Sudarso, Batam. Selanjutnya, Penulis berkuliah di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya departemen Teknik Sistem Perkapalan. Selama menuntut ilmu di tingkat sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi, penulis aktif di berbagai organisasi khusungnya di bagian yang berkaitan dengan hubungan luar. Keaktivan penulis di kegiatan OSIS pada tingkat SMA adalah awal batu loncatan dalam perkembangan kepribadian Penulis. Penulis pernah menjadi koordinator divisi hubungan masyarakat OSIS SMA Swasta Yos Sudarso. Selanjutnya, di perguruan tinggi Penulis aktif di Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Sistem Perkapalan (HIMASISKAL FTK ITS) dan Persekutuan Mahasiswa Kristen (PMK ITS). Pada tahun kedua di ITS, Penulis menjadi staff departemen hubungan luar HIMASISKAL FTK ITS. Bersamaan dengan menjadi staff HIMASISKAL FTK ITS, Penulis juga menjadi staff pada Pembinaan Kerohanian Mahasiswa Baru Kristen (PKMBK PMK ITS). Kemudian pada tahun ketiga, Penulis menjadi kepala divisi departemen hubungan luar HIMASISKAL FTK ITS dan ketua organizer committee PKMBK PMK ITS. Pada tahun keempat, Penulis menjadi steering committee PKMBK PMK ITS. Pada saat berkuliah, Penulis telah melakukan on the job training di PT. ASL Indonesia – Batam dan PT. Pertamina (Persero) Perkapalan. Pada saat berkuliah, penulis menekuni bidang reliability, availability, management dan safety. Penulis memiliki motivasi andalan yakni believe pray hardwork.
