Warm up/review – secret code (10’) o T first greets Ss and calls the role

o T asks Ss to sit in groups (based on their previous group) o T puts “secret code” cards in front of each group

o In the count of 3, Ss from each group take turn taking the card, run to the board, and fix the code by writing the answers on the board

o T checks the answer and reward the winner o T invite other facilitators to take their group Small group

Presentation: (20’)

Vocabulary building – animal’s body part

o T writes the vocabulary (animal’s body parts)on the mini white boards.

o T shows the picture cards one by one and Ss try to guess/name it Grammar presentation – Pronoun, to be and to have

o T writes the examples of pronoun and animal description E.g.

o T shows a picture of animal, like cat, cow, eagle, etc. afterwards, T describes the shown animal

i.e. it is a herbivore, it has long tail, horns, and hooves, this animal eats grass (COW)

Practice (15’) Gap fill – pronoun

o Ss open their book and do the exercises on their book Variation:

o T provides worksheet about pronoun and share it to Ss to be filled out

o T checks the Ss work

Production - Guess what (25’)

o T brainstorms the vocabulary (shows pictures and let Ss guess what it is) to make sure Ss have background knowledge about the animals

o T shares the picture cards to each S and let them in turn describe their pictures

o Other Ss guess and take the cards if their guess is correct Variation
