5.2 Metode Penelitian

Penelitian ini menganalisis komersialisasi produksi beras melalui efisien-si biaya dan laba rumah tangga petani padi di Indoneefisien-sia. Analiefisien-sis ini untuk mengetahui kesejahteraan petani dari sisi penawaran dan harga. Periode wak-tu yang digunakan selama sawak-tu tahun, yaiwak-tu 2013 dengan data sensus per-tanian sub-sektor komoditas padi. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan data

cross-section dengan memperhatikan struktur biaya produksi, hasil produksi,

dan beberapa variabel yang sudah ditentukan dalam pemodelan analisis ini. Variabel penelitian yang digunakan dalam pemodelan, yaitu biaya (c),

profit (p), penawaran (qs), biaya-biaya (wi), seperti ongkos petani/upah (w1),

bi-aya sewa (w2) dan harga beras transaksi petani dengan pedagang pengumpul

(agen) atau penggilingan dinotasikan p serta harga pasar (p). Semua variabel ini dalam bentuk logaritma natural.

Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk regresi adalah data yang dipublikasi oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Data untuk perkembangan awal penelitian dari Food Agriculture Organization (FAO), Badan Urusan Lo-gistik (Bulog).

Helmi Noviar mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Ekonomi dan Magister Sains pada Universitas Syiah Kuala. Kemudian tahun 2019 meraih gelr doktor dalam bidang Ilmu Ekonomi. Selain menekuni bidang ilmu ekonomi terutama pada Statistika dan Ekonometrika. Minat penelitiannya pada pendekatan multidisiplin dalam ilmu ekonomi sangat kuat. Saat ini bertugas sebagai Ketua Jurusan dan dosen tetap Program Studi Ilmu Ekonomi Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh.

ALIASUDDIN

Aliasuddin menyelesaikan pendidikan Sarjana Ekonomi dalam bidang Ekonomi Moneter dari Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Syiah Kuala, dan Magister Sains Ekonomi dalam bidang yang sama dari Program Pascasarjana Universitas Sy-iah Kuala. Selanjutnya, menyelesaikan Ph.D in Economics dari UPM, Malay-sia. Selain mengajar, beliau juga menjadi konsultan perencanaan di berbagai daerah. Membaca dan travelling menjadi kesukaan beliau.

SOFYAN SYAHNUR

Sofyan Syahnur menerima gelar Sarjana Ekonomi di bidang Ilmu Ekonomi dari Unsyiah pada tahun 1994, dan menerima gelar Magister Sains dalam bidang Ilmu Ekonomi dari UGM pada tahun 2001, terakhir menerima gelar doktor di bidang Ilmu Ekonomi dari University of Bonn pada tahun 2009. Minat penelitian selama ini di bidang pertumbuhan ekonomi, ketimpangan ekonomi, dan kemi-skinan. Saat ini sedang menekuni penelitian di bidang sumber daya alam yang terkait dengan kualitas pertumbuhan ekonomi. Minat lain olah raga tenis meja dan international travelling.
