SITRA 4g

The Sitra 4G services is the answer for the needs of internet users who mostly use mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and also the laptop users that requires a wireless internet network.

Since 2010, the Company obtained a license as 4G wireless internet network provider. With the commercial name of Sitra 4G, wireless internet service network has been able to serve the area of Pondok Indah, Cinere, Pasar Minggu, Kemang, Tanjung Duren, Kelapa Gading Pluit, Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), Bekasi Barat, Depok, Bogor and Cibubur area.

In February 2012, Sitra 4G introduced portable modem that is easy to be carried everywhere. Subscribers can enjoy an up to 4 Mbps of Sitra 4G using the MiniMe.

This Sitra 4G services is the answer for the needs of internet users who mostly use mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and also the laptop users that requires a wireless internet network. Sitra 4G makes it easier for the public to connect with social media, conduct e-commerce transactions, communicate, uploading and downloading information, images, and videos, as well as watch video streaming and live streaming.

BeritaSatu content and music channel MiX can be enjoyed via live streaming, which made Sitra 4G’s wireless internet service integrated with the Company’s services, along with the cable internet service.

Sitra 4G shows that the Company is always the first in providing information and

communication service, and always supporting MP3EI for the future of Indonesia economy.

The Company has invested US$ 200 million in Sitra 4G since it was introduced for the first time, and will continue to invest, because 4G is a newly developed technology in Indonesia.

The Company is confidence that this technology will be required in the development of telecommunication in Indonesia.

HoMEcABLE

Until the end of 2012, HomeCable delivers 29 HD channels that represent all genres of TV programs for various demographic group of audience.

Year 2010-2012 is a period where the HomeCable subscribers growing rapidly. Within such period, various innovations in multichannel digital TV service are offered to the subscribers.

Began from the discretion to subscribe for 2 to 4 digital STB, so that the subscriber could enjoy all available channels in the desired package for each STB, either local, national, or international, with excellent digital audio and video quality, and suitable for all members in the family. With the new digital STBs technology from the Company, subscribers may at his own discretion enjoy the multichannels service.

Another dazzling service offered is the exclusive HD channels. The HD channels offered excellence and convenience to the TV audiences. The HD channels may change the behaviour in subscription of TV services, as the development of television technology heads to HD quality technology.

Pay-TV services in Indonesia are limited in major cities. HomeCable network recently served Jakarta, Surabaya, and Denpasar only. On the other hand, the improvement of TV contents is only carried out by pay-TV network. In view of the positive growth of Indonesia economy, in the near future there will be more members of society could enjoy a qualified content from pay-TV services, such as HomeCable.

fASTNET

Since launched in June 2007, FastNet becomes the trendsetter in accessing broadband internet with affordable price.

In 2007 approximately 20 million people are the internet with a costly access fee around Rp 200,000 to Rp 300,000. Since launched in June 2007, FastNet becomes the trendsetter in accessing broadband internet with an affordable price of Rp 99,000 for bandwidth up to 384 Kbps. Immediately FastNet received 41,000 new subscribers at time when it is launched.

The Company pays high attention to the convenience and security of its internet users, especially related to the access of internet by children who are prone to the threat of internet content. In February 2010, the Company launched FastNet Kids. This service featured an automatic filter which automatically block any threatening sites, such as violence and pornography sites. FastNet Kids reduce the concerns of parents and teachers against the sites that will potentially harm the children. It became part of the Company’s social responsibility to the community and refines even before the promulgation of the regulations limiting internet access to sites that are not suitable with moral values.

In 2012, based on APJII, Indonesia has 63 million internet users. It is the eighth largest country with population that uses the internet. Most of the internet users in Indonesia are from Jakarta, however the total internet users in Jakarta are less than 50% of the total population of Jakarta. The figure shows that the market of broadband internet service is very potential. During 2012, the Company held new network rollout over 65 kilometres per month. The Company’s network rollout does not immediately meet the demand of millions of internet users, but the Company is aggressively penetrating FastNet to the market.

FastNet offers internet service with various speed, from 1.5 Mbps to 30 Mbps. The internet service offered by FastNet is the best compared to other internet services to date.

In view of the significant increase of internet users, demand and extensive benefits of internet service, and the Company’s ability to satisfy the demand of its subscribers’ needs of internet service, the Company is very optimist in FastNet growth in the future.

The business world requires a high-speed internet connection that able to carry huge amount of content. The Escalation of Indonesia’s economy performance highly increases the need for reliable internet capabilities.

DataComm provides a service called Metropolis/Metro-Ethernet since 2002. A network of internet services for the Corporation and able to bring large amounts of data simultaneously with 5,000 kilometres fibre optic. To configure the connection, DataComm services equipped with smart network technology, MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching.

DataComm provides a range of services with high speed data transfer such as disaster recovery, storage area network, peering services, inter-branch connection and video streaming. While the transition or routing network system adopt BGP Best-Path Route in the Global Internet network connection via the Shortest Path Technique. This technology was prepared to accommodate a 40 Gbps bandwidth capacity.

DataComm provides three services that are appropriate to support the business processes of its corporate customers. The package includes Broadband Internet services, Corporate Internet Sharing and High Capacity Fibre Optic Leased lines.

1. HDIPA (High Speed Dedicated Internet Access)

This package is provided to corporate customers who need data exchange and rapid communication in running business processes. The international connection speed bandwidth and local bandwidth (IIX) is a dedicated access with ratio 1: 1 symmetrical downstream and upstream.

Customers also get features like bandwidth utilization report, bandwidth-on-demand, free 8 static IP address as well as the conversion of fibre to the RJ-45 ethernet connector.

2. CIS (Corporate Internet Sharing)

This package is provided to corporate customers who need data speed to suit the needs of corporations or a sparing Service Pack. The specification is different from the package HDIPA, the speed is not dedicated, but called up to.

3. LEASED LINE SERVICES

This package was created for corporate customers who have more than one (1) Office. The service is aimed at corporate customers who want to segment integrated data exchange connections and their communication from Headquarters to branch offices.

The prospect of this service is developing. After the company received the opportunity to serve Indonesia Stock Exchange trading network with remote trading technology, the Company receives many request from other corporations for DataComm connection services Up to now, DataComm has 800 customers with the total of approximately 1,179 links. In 2012 DataComm successfully linking the new fibre optic connection to 80 buildings in Jakarta.

In the next few years small and medium companies in the creative industries can utilize the DataComm Services features. This is in line with the development of creative industries that become the mainstay for the economy of Indonesia in the future, and the Company understands that the internet network services is one of the main pillars in building Indonesia’s creative economy.

Looking at the development of businesses and economy in Indonesia as well as the necessity of internet networking service which has now increasing in building Indonesia’s economy, DataComm will continue to roll out new internet network service to connect more office buildings and business centres.

BERITASATu

At time it is developed, BeritaSatu was not designed as just an in-house channel but more than that, BeritaSatu was meant to be an accurate, fast, independent, objective, intelligent, critical, attractive, and mature news channel.

BeritaSatu is not affiliated with any political power, so it can always be objective and critical. This makes BeritaSatu’s objectivity can be trusted as the sources of information for the public.

In so many times BeritaSatu succeeds to invite creditable source for an interview and discussion in a live broadcast, it shows BeritaSatu credibility. BeritaSatu’s sources are high level officials of State, legislative, Governors, community leaders, political parties and other organizations, intellectuals, protesters, artists, and many others.

Besides its precision, speed and objectivity, BeritaSatu concern to the quality of its delivery, therefore since it’s launched in September 2011, the BeritaSatu news channel was broadcasted in High Definition.

To reach wider audiences, in 2012, BeritaSatu expanded its broadcast network. Currently BeritaSatu is broadcasted via HomeCable’s channel 6 (SD) and 301 (HD), it is also broadcasted by Aora TV on channel 922, Skynindo and Telkomvision’s channel 152.

Besides that TV Manado will be the first region television station that carries BeritaSatu.

It will be soon follow by Ternate television, Kendari, Balikpapan, Bangka Belitung, Semarang, Banjarmasin, Bontang and Pekanbaru.
