12. Course Synopsis:
This course identifies the competence required to produce a metal fabrication and welding engineering project that uses carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium or combination of all the materials mentioned. The project will be fabricated and welded using SMAW, GTAW, GMAW or FCAW process.

1.2 Draw designs drawing taking into account of code requirement
1.2.1 Prepare shop drawings based on design drawing after considering code
requirement and permissible clearances for the desired design
1.2.2 Produce a model of the design
1.2.3 Analyse design and overcome problems before fabrication
1.3 Generate bill of quantity and material requirement 1.3.1 Prepare Bill of quantity and material
