tujuan wisata di JawaTimur karena potensi alam dan iklim yang dimiliki. Letaknya yang berada ditengah–tengahwilayah Kabupaten Malang, secara astronomis terletak pada posisi 112.06o- 112.07oBujur Timur , 7.06o- 8.02o Lintang Selatan
1.Malang Municipality is the one of the tourism destination at East Java (Jawa Timur Province) because it has the natural beauty and wonderful climate. It is located in the perfectly middle of Malang Regency region, according to the astronomical location it lies between 112.060–112.070East longitude, 7.060-8.020 South Latitude
2. Batas wilayah Kota Malang : 2.The region bordes of Malang Municipality :
- Sebelah Utara : Kecamatan Singosari dan Kecamatan Karangploso Kabupaten Malang.
-North: Singosari and Karangpoloso Subdistrict, Malang Regency
- Sebelah Timur Kecamatan Pakis dan Kecamatan Tumpang Kabupaten Malang
-East : Pak is and Tumpang Subdistrict, Malang Regency
- Sebelah Selatan: Kecamatan Tajinan dan Kecamatan Pakisaji Kabupaten Malang
-South : Tajinan and Pak isaji Subdistrict, Malang Regency
- Sebelah Barat : Kecamatan Wagir dan Kecamatan Dau Kabupaten Malang.

3. Luas wilayah Kota Malang sebesar 110,06 km2yang terbagi dalam lima kecamatan yaitu : Kecamatan Kedungkandang, Sukun, Klojen, Blimbing dan Lowokwaru.

4. Potensi alam yang dimiliki Kota Malang adalah letaknya yang cukup tinggi yaitu 440 - 667 meter di atas permukaan air laut. Salah satu lokasi yang paling tinggi adalah Pegunungan Buring yang terletak di sebelah timur Kota Malang. Dari atas pegunungan ini terlihat jelas pemandangan yang indah antara lain dari arah Barat terlihat barisan Gunung Kawi dan Panderman, sebelah utara Gunung Arjuno, Sebelah Timur Gunung Semeru dan jika melihat kebawah terlihat hamparan Kota Malang. Sedangkan sungai yang mengalir di Wilayah Kota Malang adalah Sungai Brantas, Amprong dan Bango.
4.Owned natural potential Malang Municipality is located fairly high at 440- 667 meters above sea level.One of the locations of the most high mountains Buring is located in the east of Malang Municipality. From the top of these mountains visible beautiful scenery, among others from the West look s rows of Kawi mountain and Panderman, north of Arjuno mountain, East of Semeru mountain and if look ing down look s expanse of Malang Municipality. While the river that flows in Malang Municipality area is the Brantas, Amprong and Bango River.
