Department (HRD) Pertamina bertanggung jawab dalam
mengembangkan insan Pertamina sebagai Global Business
Players. Pertamina Corporate University (PCU) sebagai
bagian dari HRD dalam mengembangkan kapabilitas dan kualitas SDM, perlu untuk meningkatkan standar dan kualitas layanannya.
Sejak diresmikan pada tahun 2012, guna memenuhi kebutuhan bisnis Pertamina, PCU terus melakukan terobosan baru dalam mengembangkan sumber daya manusia Pertamina yang berkelas dunia sesuai dengan visinya. Sebagai Corporate
University, PCU terus berpacu meningkatkan standar kualitas
dan layanan kegiatan pembelajaran serta pengembangan pekerja yang sejalan dengan Learning Focus perusahaan. PCU telah melaksanakan program pembelajaran dengan
berbagai metode, antara lain: Classroom Learning,
Action Learning, Expert Knowledge/Technology Transfer Program, Competency Certification Programs, Adventure
Learning, e-Learning, Coaching and Mentoring, dan
On-the-Job Learning. Beberapa program pembelajaran strategis
menggunakan metodologi Blended Learning Solution, yang mengkombinasikan beberapa metode dalam satu program dengan komposisi 70% pendidikan dilakukan secara on the job, 20% melalui interaksi dan 10% melalui classroom.
Pertamina Corporate University
Human Resource (HR) Development plays an important role for corporations that continue to compete in the global competition. Likewise, PT Pertamina (Persero) has a vision to be a World-Class National Energy Company in 2030. The function of the Human Resources Department (HRD) of Pertamina is responsible for developing the employees Pertamina as the Global Business Players. Pertamina Corporate University (PCU) as a part of HRD in developing the capabilities and quality of human resources, needs to improve the standard and quality of its services.
Since it was established in 2012, in order to meet Pertamina’s business needs, PCU continues to make new breakthroughs in developing the human resources of a world class Pertamina aligning with its vision. As a Corporate University, PCU kept its pace in increasing the quality standards and learning service as well as the development of employees in line with the company’s Learning Focus.
PCU has implemented learning programs using various methods, among others: Classroom Learning, Action Learning, Expert Knowledge/Technology Transfer Program, Competency Certification Programs, Adventure Learning, e-Learning, Coaching and Mentoring, and On-the-Job Learning. Some programs use a strategic learning methodology called Blended Learning Solution, which combines several methods in one program with a composition of 70% of education is done on the job, 20% through interaction and 10% through the classroom.
Program pembelajaran PCU diklasifikasikan menjadi 3 kategori sesuai dengan kebutuhan bisnis di Pertamina, antara lain:
1. Internalisasi Budaya Perusahaan, yang terdiri dari tata
nilai/values perusahaan 6C (Clean, Competitive,
Confident, Customer focused, Confident, Commercial,
dan Capable), serta budaya Health, Safety, Security and
Environment (HSSE) awareness.
2. Pengembangan Soft Competency, berupa program
managerial dan leadership, yang terdiri dari program
akselerasi untuk talent pool/successor maupun program umum.
3. Pengembangan Technical Competency, misalnya: Gas
and LNG Measurement Type A, Fundamentals of Seismic
& Non-Seismic, dan lain-lain.
Kerja sama strategis dengan partner global, merupakan bagian terpenting dalam mewujudkan pengembangan SDM yang siap mendunia. Beberapa partner dari berbagai lembaga terkemuka internasional, telah digandeng PCU
dalam mewujudkan partnership program, antara lain:
INSEAD, Japan Corporation Center Petroleum (JCCP),
Australia Award Indonesia (AAI), Japan Oil, Gas and
Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC), Legal Counsel
and Compliance Internship Program in USA, dan lain-lain.
Seiring dengan kebutuhan pengembangan SDM yang terus meningkat, PCU mulai mengembangkan programnya yang tidak terbatas pada lingkup internal Pertamina, tetapi juga penyediaan program sertifikasi dan berbagai program pembelajaran untuk pihak eksternal.
Karena itu dalam pelaksanaannya, PCU memiliki berbagai fasilitas pembelajaran antara lain: ruang kelas, alat praktik, alat simulasi/simulator. Beberapa fasilitas ini tersebar di beberapa lokasi, yaitu:
1. PCU Simprug, Jakarta Selatan,
2. Maritime Training Center (MTC) Jalan Pemuda, Jakarta
Timur,
3. HSE Training Center Sungai Gerong, Sumatera Selatan 4. Beberapa lokasi pembelajaran yang berada pada
unit-unit operasi.
Fasilitas seperti simulator, e-learning dan Learning Support
Equipment dikelola oleh PCU sendiri. Sedangkan dalam hal
pengelolaan akomodasi dan fasilitas lainnya, PCU bekerja sama dengan PT Patra Jasa, sebagai Anak Perusahaan Pertamina.
PCU learning programs are classified into 3 categories according to business needs at Pertamina, which are:
1. Internalization of Corporate Culture, which consists of company’s values of 6C (Clean, Competitive, Confident, Customer focused, Commercial, and Capable), as well as the culture of the Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) awareness.
2. Soft Competency Development, in the form of managerial and leadership program, which consists of an accelerated program for the talent pool/successor as well as general programs.
3. Development of Technical Competency, for example: Gas and LNG Measurement Type A, Fundamentals of Seismic & Non-Seismic, and others.
Strategic collaboration with global partners is an important part in creating world-ready human resource development. Some partners of several leading institutions internationally, have been embraced in PCU in realising the partnership program, among others are: INSEAD, Japan Corporation Center Petroleum (JCCP), Australia Award Indonesia (AAI), Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC), Legal Counsel and Compliance Internship Program in the USA, and others. Along with the human resources development needs of the growing, PCU began to develop programs that are not limited to the internal Pertamina, but also the provision of a certification program and learning programs for external parties.
Therefore in its implementation, the PCU has a variety of learning facilities which include: classrooms, practice tools, simulation tools/simulator. Some of these facilities are spread across multiple locations, namely:
1. PCU Simprug, South Jakarta,
2. Maritime Training Center (MTC) Jalan Pemuda, JakartaTimur,
3. HSE Training Center Gerong River, South Sumatra 4. Some learning centers in operation units.
Facilities such as simulators, e-learning and Learning Support Equipment managed by the PCU itself. While in terms of the management of the accommodation and other facilities, PCU cooperates with PT Patra Jasa, as a Pertamina’s subsidiary.
Sepanjang 2016, PCU telah melaksanakan kegiatan pengembangan SDM sebagai berikut:
1. Terdapat 11.737 pekerja tercatat mengikuti program pelatihan dalam negeri dan luar negeri yang bersifat, umum, teknikal, manajerial termasuk sertifikasi.
2. Mengembangkan program pelatihan berbasis elektronik guna mendukung program pelatihan (baik mandatory,
non-mandatory maupun compliance) dengan total
pengakses sebanyak 59.690.
3. Menjalankan 21 program/angkatan, khusus Leadership
Program (PGEDP, PDP, PLDP dan ALP) bagi pekerja middle
level dan high level dengan total sebanyak 358 pekerja.
4. Melakukan evaluasi program pelatihan/pembelajaran dengan pencapaian tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap penyelenggaraan program (Level 1 Evaluation) sebesar 4,10 dari skala Likert 1-5.
Sebagai lembaga pembelajaran yang profesional, PCU membuktikan keberadaannya dengan berhasil mendapatkan berbagai pengakuan dan penghargaan bergengsi bertaraf nasional dan internasional pada tahun 2016, antara lain: 1. Getenergy Award untuk kategori “Best Learning at The

BSI pada bulan Oktober 2016
5. Akreditasi Internasional Corporate Learning Improvement Process (CLIP) dari EFMD selama 3 (tiga) tahun terhitung mulai 28 November 2016.
6. Mendirikan Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi (LSP Pertamina) dan telah mendaftarkan 40 skema sertifikasi ke Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi yang mencangkup program-program sertifikasi di lingkup Hulu, Pemasaran serta Pengolahan.
Throughout 2016, the PCU has conducted human resource programs as follows:
1. There are 11,737 employees attending the training programs in domestic as well as abroad on subject such as general, technical, managerial, including certification. 2. Develop an electronic-based training program to support
training programs (both mandatory, non-mandatory or compliance) with total user of 59,690.

6. Established the Profession Certification Institute of Pertamina (LSP Pertamina), which has registered 40 certification schemes to the National Agency for Profession Certification, comprising certification programs for Upstream, Marketing and Refinery sectors.
Dalam rangka mendukung pencapaian visi dan misi Perusahaan untuk menjadi Perusahaan Energi Berkelas Dunia, PCU mengajukan dan berhasil mendapatkan akreditasi internasional sebagai lembaga pembelajaran, yaitu Corporate Learning Improvement Process (CLIP) dari EFMD yang berpusat di Belgia. Akreditasi ini berlaku selama 3 (tiga) tahun terhitung mulai tanggal 28 November 2016.
Dalam proses untuk mendapatkan akreditasi ini, PCU menyiapkan Self-Assessment Report (SAR) yang mendeskripsikan implementasi terhadap 35 (tiga puluh lima) CLIP Quality Standards. SAR selanjutnya diverifikasi melalui kunjungan dan wawancara secara langsung oleh Peer Review Team, yang beranggotakan para ahli dan praktisi dalam bidang pembelajaran serta pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) berskala global. Wawancara dilakukan kepada beberapa wakil dari Tim PCU dan stakeholders terkait, antara lain: BOD, Subject Matter Expert (SME), peserta pelatihan,
fasilitator/pengajar, serta vendor sebagai mitra
penyelenggara pelatihan.
Melalui mekanisme ini dapat teridentifikasi kekuatan serta area pengembangan yang perlu ditindaklanjuti oleh PCU, agar dapat tetap mempertahankan posisinya sebagai lembaga pembelajaran berskala global antara lain:

In order to support the achievement of the vision and mission of the Company to become a World-class Energy Company, PCU filed and managed to get international accreditation as a learning institution, called the Corporate Learning Improvement Process (CLIP) from EMFD based in Belgium. Accreditation is valid for 3 years from November 28, 2016.
In the process to obtain this accreditation, PCU prepared the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) that describe the implementation of the 35 CLIP Quality Standards. SAR was further verified through visits and interviews directly by the Peer Review Team, consisting of experts and practitioners in the field of learning and human resource development its global scale. Interviews were conducted to some representatives of the PCU team and stakeholders, among others: BOD, Subject Matter Expert (SME), as well as training, facilitators/teachers, as well as vendors as partner training organiser.
Through this mechanism, strengths and areas for improvement which needs to be followed by the PCU are identified, in order to retain its position as a global learning institutions, among others:
