4. Rekomendasi Bagi Para Peneliti Selanjutnya
Berkaitan dengan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan empati melalui model pembelajaran, masih diperlukan penelitian-penelitian lanjutan baik yang bersifat pengembangan maupun kedalamannya. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi yang dapat disampaikan bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Cakupan penelitian ini masih terbatas pada peningkatan aspek afektif (kemampuan empati) saja, oleh karena itu lebih baik lagi apabila dilakukan
penelitian lanjutan yang melibatkan aspek psikomotor atau kognitif, sehingga hasilnya lebih komprehensif.
2. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini, ruang lingkupnya masih terbatas pada siswa dari lingkungan pedesaan. Oleh karena itu masih terbuka untuk dilakukan penelitian dengan mengambil sampel dari siswa yang ada di perkotaan.
3. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini baru pada tingkat sekolah menengah pertama, sehingga masih terbuka untuk diadakan penelitian lanjutan yang dihubungkan dengan tingkat pendidikan yang lebih tinggi atau lebih rendah.
