Perjanjian moda 4 di AFAS berada dalam perjanjian yang berbeda karena AFAS bertujuan untuk secara signifikan menghilangkan pembatasan perdagangan jasa dan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing pemasok jasa di ASEAN. Sedangkan ASEAN Agreement on the Movement of Natural Persons (MNP) di sisi lain dimaksudkan untuk merampingkan prosedur bisnis bagi warga negara anggota ASEAN untuk dapat bekerja di Negara Anggota ASEAN lainnya. Di dalam ASEAN MNP Agreement, setiap tenaga kerja asing diatur berdasarkan regulasi tenaga kerja dan imigrasi. Dalam peraturan tersebut yang diperbolehkan masuk ke Indonesia adalah Director, Manager, dan Experts dengan masa tinggal dua tahun dan dapat diperpanjang selama dua kali.
ASEAN-Australia New Zealand Free Trade Area (AANZFTA)
AANZFTA, dalam bab tentang Perdagangan Jasa, semakin meningkatkan komitmen liberalisasi perdagangan jasa kedua belah pihak. Elemen penting di bawah AANZFTA adalah ketentuan yang melindungi investasi dari pemasok jasa melalui Mode 3 atau commercial presence. Adapun komitmen liberalisasi perdagangan sektor jasa transportasi Indonesia di dalam ASEAN-Australia New Zealand FTA meliputi Maritime Transport Services, Maritime Auxiliarry Services dan Air Transport Services. Untuk moda 3 atau commercial presence sektor jasa transportasi, Pemerintah Indonesia membuka kepemilikan asing sebesar 49 persen dengan menggunakan skema joint venture. Di sisi lain, Pemerintah Indonesia membebaskan market access untuk moda 1 atau cross border supply dan moda 2 atau consumption abroad.

ASEAN-India Trade in Services Agreement (AITISA)
ASEAN-India Trade in Services Agreement ditandatangani pada November 2014. Pada perjanjian ini, Indonesia membuka pasarnya untuk penyedia jasa transportasi dari India dengan ekuitas asing sebesar 49% untuk International Passenger Transport dan International Freight Transport. Selain itu, Indonesia juga membuka subsektor MaIritime Auxiliary Services Maritime Cargo Handling Services dengan syarat melalui skema Joint Venture dan hanya dibatasi pada wilayah tertentu seperti Tanjung Priok, Tanjung Perak, Belawan, Semarang, and Makassar. Untuk Moda 4, Indonesia hanya membuka untuk Subsektor International Passenger Transport dan International Freight Transport berdasarkan Horizontal Commitment.

ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Area (AKFTA)
ASEAN dan Korea memantapkan kemitraan mereka dengan menandatangani Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation pada ASEAN-Republic of Korea Summit ke-9 pada 13 Desember 2005, yang antara lain mengatur tentang pembentukan ASEAN-Republic of Korea Free Trade Area (AK-FTA). Perjanjian tersebut juga meliputi perdagangan jasa yang mulai berlaku pada Mei 2009 dan bertujuan untuk menegaskan kembali komitmen liberalisasi perdagangan jasa dengan cakupan substansial, dan meningkatkan daya saing dan efisiensi di masing-masing sektor jasa. Pada perjanjian ini, Indonesia untuk moda 3 (commercial presence) membuka pasar bagi perusahaan asing yang tergabung dalam AKFTA dengan foreign equity hingga mencapai 49% dalam joint venture yang dilakukan dengan perusahaan jasa transportasi lokal.
