Untuk lebih meyakinkan bahwa tumor berasal dari sel otot dapat dilakukan pemeriksaan histopatologi lebih lanjut dengan dilakukan pewarnaan imunohistokimia dengan antibodi anti Muscle-Actin Spesific dan αSmooth Muscle Actin (α SMA).
