5.2 Saran

5.1 Kesimpulan

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa :

1) Andisol yang berkembang dari beberapa sifat bahan induk (andesit, andesit-basalan serta basal) dan umur geologi bahan induk (Holosen dan Pleistosen) memperlihatkan perbedaan dan persamaan karakteristik, kimia dan fisika. 2) Tanah berbahan induk tua (Pleistosen) pada Andisol belum mencerminkan

tingkat perkembangan yang sangat lanjut jika dilihat dari nilai pH0 karena nilai pH0 nya justru lebih rendah dibandingkan tanah berbahan induk lebih muda (Holosen)

5.2 Saran

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka diajukan beberapa saran sebagai berikut :

1) Melakukan penelitian pada tanah ini dengan tanaman untuk melihat respons tanaman terhadap persamaan dan perbedaan karakeristik kimia dan fisika tanah ini.

2) Melakukan penelitian pada tanah dengan rentang perbedaan umur bahan induk yang lebih signifikan seperti Kuarter dan Tertier untuk mengetahui variabilitas perkembangan Andisol berdasarkan nilai pH0.
