1 Perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan mengenai protozoa parasitik sampai tingkat spesies dari tiap protozoa parasitik.
2 Perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai keberadaan protozoa parasitik di tinja berbagai jenis satwaliar yang berhabitat di Taman Nasional Way Kambas.
3 Perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai daur hidup dari ordo Entodiniomorphida yang terdapat di sekum dan kolon badak serta gajah.

Perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai keberadaan Cryptosporidium danEntamoeba di lingkungan sekitar Suaka Rhino Sumatera, Pusat Latihan Gajah dan di desa-desa sekitar Taman Nasional Way Kambas seperti di air sungai, air kolam, maupun tanah di padang penggembalaan ternak. Hal ini mengingat kedua genus tersebut berpotensi sebagaiagen penyakit yang bersifat zoonosis.
5 Perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai modifikasi metode kuantitatif dan metode penghitungan protozoa di tinja pada hewan besar seperti badak dan gajah.
6 Perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan rutin terhadap protozoa parasitik pada badak di Suaka Rhino Sumatera dan gajah di Pusat Latihan Gajah serta pemeriksaan rutin kesehatan pawang gajah.
7 Perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan rutin mengenai penyakit pada hewan ternak di desa-desa sekitar Taman Nasional Way Kambas oleh Dinas Peternakan setempat.
8 Perlu dilakukan pembatasan gerak hewan ternak yang dipelihara di desa-desa sekitar untuk masuk ke dalam kawasan Taman Nasional Way Kambas.
