Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima, artinya terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kematangan karir dengan komitmen organisasi pada anggota Polisi (r= 0,640; p= 0,000< 0,01).

Hasil tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi kematangan karir maka akan semakin tinggi pula komitmen organisasi yang dimiliki oleh anggota Polisi, begitu pula sebaiknya.

Implikasi dari penelitian ini, diantaranya:

1. Anggota Polisi

Bagi anggota Polisi diharapkan memiliki pengetahuan mengenai kematangan karir dan memiliki kematangan karir yang tinggi. Dimulai dari pengetahuan kelebihan dan kekurangan diri, pengetahuan mengenai pekerjaan yang digeluti sebagai karir kedepannya. Dengan memiliki kematangan karir tinggi akan meningkatkan kedisiplinan, profesionalitas, dan tentunya komitmen organisasi anggota Polisi terhadap instansi Kepolisian.

2. Pimpinan Kepolisian Sektor, Resort, Daerah, dan Markas Besar Polri

Bagi pimpinan Polri, penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran mengenai kematangan karir dan komitmen organisasi pada anggota Polisi sehingga dapat dijadikan acuan untuk dalam pembuatan suatu kebijakan.

Selain itu, dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan kepada pimpinan Polri untuk mengadakan pelatihan, konseling maupun konseling karir, atau pendampingan oleh Psikolog agar mampu meningkatkan komitmen dan kematangan karir khususnya anggota Polisi yang berada pada fase eksplorasi (15-24 tahun) sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja anggota Polisi.

3. Peneliti Selanjutnya

Bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi, inspirasi atau wawasan untuk melakukan penelitian serupa ataupun

mengembangkan penelitian dengan variabel lain yang dapat meningkatkkan kinerja anggota Polisi seperti adaptability career, job crafting, serta familly support.
