Simpulan yang dapat diungkap dari hasil penelitian ini adalah:

Ada beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi lulusan, yaitu: (a) kepemimpinan pengelola memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kompetensi lulusan melalui budaya akademik, suasana akademik, kompetensi dosen, dan kualitas pembelajaran; (b) budaya akademik memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kompetensi lulusan melalui suasana akademik, kompetensi dosen, dan kualitas pembelajaran; (c) suasana akademik memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kompetensi lulusan melalui kompetensi dosen dan kualitas pembelajaran; (d) kompetensi dosen memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap suasana akademik melalui kualitas pembelajaran; dan (e) kualitas pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kompetensi lulusan.

Hubungan korelasi antara kompetensi lulusan dan variabel lainnya sesuai dengan yang terkuat hingga yang paling lemah adalah pengaruh dari kualitas pembelajaran, suasana akademik, kompetensi dosen, kepemimpinan pengelola, dan budaya akademik.

Kepemimpinan manajerial/pengelola adalah driver dari variabel lain. Dengan kata lain, kepemimpinan pengelola memberikan kontribusi langsung (budaya akademik, suasana akademik, dan kompetensi dosen) dan kontribusi tidak langsung (melalui kualitas pembelajaran dan kompetensi lulusan) terhadap semua variabel. Pengaruh kepemimpinan manajerial terhadap variabel lain dari hubungan terkuat hingga yang terlemah adalah kepemimpinan manajerial dengan kompetensi dosen, suasana akademik, budaya akademik, kualitas pembelajaran dan kompetensi lulusan.
