(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in " T h e Oma-

(2) Every such lease shall be granted to two or more persons of full age, upon such terms and subject to snch rents, covenants, pro- visions, and reservations as the Council thinks fit.

(3) No such lease shall be granted until, at a meeting of the rate- payers, a resolution has been passed in favor of granting the same.

(4) If such resolution is declared to be carried, any six ratepayers of the District may, within the period of fifteen minutes after the declaration is made, demand a poll by giving notice in writing of such demand to the chairman of the meeting, in which case the lease shall not be granted unless the poll results in favor of granting the same.

(5) Such poll shall be taken in manner provided in Part XXI.
