it Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Aus- tralia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council .and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parlia-
ment assembled, as follows, that is to say :

This Act may be cited as "The Taxation Act Amendment Act, Short title.1892," and shall be incorporated and read with 4LThe Taxation Act, 1884.''

I n addition to the income tax imposed and payable under Increaseof incomeand by virtue of "The Taxation Act, 1884," a further tax is tax, hereby imposed upon the taxable amount of such income arising or accruing in or derived from South Australia during the year ending on the thirty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, at the following rates-
I. On all income derived during the said year, from personal exertion, One Penny and one Half-penny for every Pound sterling of the taxable amount thereof:
11. On all income derived during the said year, the produce of property, at the rate of Threepence for evely Pound sterling of the taxable amount thereof.
