The Registrar may not accept a student's program of enrollment in any of the following circumstances: a) the student has not enrolled in accordance with his offer of admission, including, where specified, major field of study, type of attendance, mode of attendance and location of study;. Credit
In this section, an "incompatible unit" means a unit in which the subject matter or learning material is substantially similar to that included in the specified unit. Maximum and Minimum Enrollment Program Load Course requirements may specify one or both of the following:. a) the maximum number of credit points for full-time enrolment.
Discontinuation or interruption of enrol- ment
In this section, "academic penalty" means that the unit concerned is awarded a failing grade. The university's academic board must specify deadlines for completion of an award course and may set different deadlines for different categories of courses.

UNSATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
A student is an “eligible student” for the purposes of ineligibility if: a) the student has previously been placed or is currently in probationary enrollment and is eligible for a new period of probationary enrollment under rule 39; or. b) the student receives an insufficient grade for a designated unit; or (c) having been readmitted to the award course following a period of exclusion, the student achieves a grade point average of less than 3.5 in the units for which the student has registered in the academic year following readmission; or. d) the student has exceeded the maximum time limit for the prize course imposed in accordance with rule 14. 2) At the end of each year, the faculty academic council responsible for the award course may exclude an eligible student from enrollment in that course. class. In this rule, “designated unit” means a unit that the academic board of a faculty requires a student to complete with a passing grade in order to continue with the award course.

In the Graduate Diploma you complete a program similar to the first two years of the Master's program. A candidate for the Bachelor of Architecture degree must be engaged in approved employment for at least 48 recognized weeks in the first three years of the course (ADB795 Internship A), and for at least 72 recognized weeks in the second three years (ADB796 Internship Experience B). Subject to the approval of the course coordinator, students may be able to select a minor area of study.
Successful completion of the Bachelor of Built Environment (Interior Design) meets the requirements for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma in Interior Design, which is accredited by the Design Institute of Australia. Successful completion of the Bachelor of Built Environment (Urban and Regional Planning) enables students to gain access to the Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Urban and Regional Planning, which is fully accredited by the Royal Australian Planning Institute (RAPI). Subject to the approval of the Course Coordinator, CEB416, CEB418, CEB523 or Electives may be substituted for a minor.
At the discretion of the course coordinator, students may choose an elective from advanced subjects offered by the university. The proposal will be read by the members of the review panel for confirmation of candidacy prior to the seminar presentation. After all of these steps have been completed to the panel's satisfaction, a recommendation will be made to the Research Degrees Committee through the Faculty Research Degree Committee and the Faculty Academic Council to confirm the candidate's enrollment in the EdD program. The chair of the Faculty Research Committee (or nominee) will review such advice and pass on his/her advice to the Faculty Academic Council.
If the examiners do not reach agreement, the Faculty Academic Board will ask the Course Coordinator to appoint an examination panel chair (internal examiner, associate supervisor or other person approved by the Faculty Academic Board). Application must be made to the Faculty's Academic Board for approval of re-examination arrangements. The Chair of the Faculty Search Committee (or designee) will adjudicate such recommendations and forward his/her recommendation to the Faculty Academic Board.
Copies of the thesis are then forwarded by Student Affairs to the Research Education Committee together with attestation as mentioned above. These changes must be made to the satisfaction of the Head Teacher or Head of School. The student supervisor makes the examiner requirements available to the candidate and the supervisor, while preserving the anonymity of the examiners.
