Arrangements for schools for monitoring extension subjects
Purpose
To advise school staff of the arrangements for district review panel meetings for the Authority subjects Chinese Extension, English Extension, French Extension, German Extension, Indonesian Extension and Music Extension.
Background
Timelines for monitoring extension subjects differ from other subject areas as they are one-year courses (Year 12).

Content of school submissions
Please refer to the relevant syllabus, and to the publication Moderation handbook for Authority subjects on the QSA website at <www.qsa.qld.edu.au/1426.html>.
Schools are to include with their monitoring submission a completed Form R3.
In the past, the size and weight of some submissions have caused handling difficulties for staff in district offices. The Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 (Qld.), Code of Practice, Manual Handling contains guidelines for handling materials. If the total package of submissions from the school exceeds 16 kg, please bundle submissions into smaller packages that are clearly marked, for example,
“PACKAGE 1 OF 2”.
