EDITORIAL -SPECIAL SECTION FROM OZCHI99 CONFERENCE
The following six papers have been selected from the recent OzCHI99 conference held at CSU in November 1999.
The theme for the conference, Interfaces for a Global Community, reflects the importance of system and interface designs that facilitate effective communication between computers and the human population, with all of its diversity. It also reflects the mutlidisciplinary nature of systems and interface design.
The quality and scope of the conference papers was encouraging and the papers included in this edition illustrate some of the excellent research currently being undertaken in Human-Computer Interaction.
