COMPLETION, MAJOR REPAIR, RECOMPLETION AND ABANDONMENT OF WELLS

Along with the plan, a copy of the field notes, planetable sheets if used, and any other data relevant to the survey must be submitted, unless the Senior Petroleum Technologist approves otherwise. Reports of technical studies on samples and cores obtained from wells, including paleontology, permeability and porosity determinations, will be submitted by the Person in Charge to the Senior Petroleum Technologist as soon as they are available. The report shall be a faithful record of the drilling and completion or abandonment of the well.

This report, in a form acceptable to the Senior Petroleum Technologist, shall be submitted within six weeks of the completion of such operation. When a well needs to be abandoned, the operator must observe the following provisions:-. a). The length of ropes for hoists or masts is as follows: - Height.

The form of registration must be in accordance with the provisions of A.P.I. Standard RP9B or such other form as may be acceptable to the Senior Petroleum Technologist. INSTALLATIONS

Installed so that it is at least eighteen feet above the ground above areas where vehicular traffic is crossed; or.
