THE Deputy Governor, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council, has been pleased to make the following Regulations under "The Brigalow and Other Lands Development Act of 1962."

REGULATIONS UNDER "THE BRIGALOW AND OTHER LANDS DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1962"
CHAPTER I-PRELIMINARY
CITATION
1. These Regulations may be cited as "The Brigalow and Other Lands Development Regulations of 1963" and take effect as from 1st January, 1963.
2. These Regulations are divided into Chapters as follows:- Chapter !-Preliminary;
Chapter 2-The Corporation of the Land Administration Commission;
Chapter 3-Advances;
Chapter 4-Forms.
3. Subject to these Regulations, all Regulations made or to be made under "The Land Act of 1962" are deemed to have been made or to be made under "The Land Act of 1962" and "The Brigalow and Other Lands Development Act of 1962," and subject to any necessary adaptations apply and extend to all leases or sales of land granted or made or procedure associated therewith in respect of any area declared to be a declared area for the purposes of "The Brigalow and Other Lands Development Act of 1962."
CHAPTER 2-THE CORPORATION OF THE LAND ADMINISTRATION COMMISSION
4. Meetings of the Corporation shall be called by the Minister or the Chairman and at any such meeting two members of the Corporation shall form a quorum. In the absence of the Chairman of the Corporation, the member with seniority as determined by Regulation 107 of "The Public Service Regulations of 1958" shall act as Chairman at a meeting. The decision of the majority shall be the decision of the Corporation.

5. The Secretary of the Land Administration Commission or the officer for the time being performing the duties of the Secretary, shall be The Secretary of the Corporation and he shall exercise and perform all such duties as the Corporation shall from time to time direct. Any decision or document of the Corporation shall be sufficiently authenticated if signed by the Chairman or the Secretary. The Secretary shall ensure that proper and correct minutes are made of all matters transacted and ordered at any meeting of the Corporation.
6. The official seal of the Corporation shall be kept under lock and key and shall not be affixed to any document unless a member of the Corporation and the Secretary be present. Any document so sealed shall be signed by the Chairman or a member of the Corporation and the Secretary.
CHAPTER 3-ADV ANCES
7. Every application for an advance under "The Brigalow and Other Lands Development Act of 1962" ·shall be made in the form or to the like effect of that prescribed in Chapter 4.
CHAPTER 4-FORMS
8. The forms set forth in the Schedule hereto with such modifications as the circumstances may require, shall be used for the purposes for which they are applicable.

WHEREAS, in Our State of Queensland; in pursuance of the provisions of "The Land Act of 1962" and "The Brigalow and Other Lands Development Act of 1962" (hereinafter referred to as "the said Acts")
now entitled to a Lease of the Land described in the Schedule endorsed on these Presents, for the term of Twenty-five Years, at the purchasing price per acre hereinafter mentioned, with, under and subject to the rights, powers, privileges, terms, conditions, provisions, exceptions, restrictions, reservations, and provisoes in the said Acts, and hereinafter contained: Now KNOW YE, that in consideration of the premises and of the payment previous to the issue hereof of the purchasing price of the said Land, calculated at an amount of per acre,
WE, in pursuance of the said Acts, Do HEREBY, FoR Us, Our Heirs and Successors, Demise and Lease unto the said (hereinafter with his Successors in title designated "the Lessee"), and his lawful Assigns, ALL that parcel of Land described in the Schedule endorsed on these presents, To HoLD the same unto the Lessee, and his lawful assigns, for and, during the term of Twenty-five Years, to be computed from the First day of in the year One thousand nine hundred and with, under, and subject to the rights, powers, privileges, terms·, conditions, provisions, exceptions, restrictions, reservations and provisoes in the notification dated the declaring the said Land open for Selection and in section 18 of "The Brigalow and Other Lands Development Act of 1962"
and to all other rights, powers, privileges, terms, conditions, provisions, exceptions, restrictions, reservations, and provisoes referred to, contained, or prescribed in and by the said Acts, "The Mining on PriMate Land Acts, 1909 to 1956," and
"Tize Petroleum Acts, 1923 to 1962," or any Regulations made or which may hereafter be made under the aforesaid Acts or any of the aforesaid Acts or any of them: PROVIDED ALWAYS AND WE DO HEREBY RESERVE unto Us, Our Heirs and Successors, all Gold and Minerals (the term "Minerals" to have the same meaning as in "The Mining on Private Land Acts, 1909 to 1956"), on and below the surface. of the said Land, and. alL Mines. of Gold and, Minerals,. on and. belo:w:·
the surface of the said Land: AND WE oo· HEREBY ALSO' R'ESER'-'E unto Us, Our Heirs and Successors, and to such persons as shall from time to time be duly authorised by Us in that behalf during the term of the said Lease, the free right and privilege of access, including ingress, egress, and regress, into, upon, over, and out of the said Land, for the purpose of searching for or working Gold and Minerals, or any of them, or Mines of Gold and Minerals, or any of them, in in any part of the said Land: AND WE DO HEREBY ALSO RESERVE unto Us, Our Heirs and Successors, all Petroleum (the term "Petroleum" to have the same meaning as in "The Petroleum Acts, 1923 to 1962"), on or below the surface of the said Land: AND ALSO all rights of access for the purpose of searching for and for the operations of obtaining Petroleum in any part of the said Land: AND ALso all rights of way for access and for pipe lines and other purposes requisite for obtaining and conveying Petroleum in the event of Petroleum being obtained in• an;y part of the said Land: AND WE DO HEREBY ALSO· RESERVE unto lJs,. 0mr Heirs and Successors, all Helium found in association with Petroleum in any part of the said Land: AND WE DO FURTHER RESERVE the right of ·any person duly authorised in that behalf by the Governor of Our said State in Council at all times to go upon the said Land, or any part thereof, for any purpose whatsoever, or to make any survey, inspection, or examination of the same.

of , in the State of Queensland (hereinafter with his executors administrators and permitted assigns called "the Mortgagor") of the one part and the Corporation of the Land Administration Commission (hereinafter called "the Corporation") of the other part Witnesseth that in considera- tion of an advance or advances made or to be made by the Corporation under the provisions of "The Brigalow and Other Lands Development Acts, 1962 to 1967" (hereinafter with all amendments which may be made thereto and regulations made or to be made thereunder called "the Act") at and during its pleasure to the Mortgagor and in pursuance of the covenant by the Mortgagor to execute these presents contained in given by the Mortgagor to the Corporation
