Department of Primary Industries Brisbane, 3rd November, 1988 THE Deputy Governor, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council and in pursuance of the provisions of the Primary Producers' Organisation and Marketing Act 1926-1987, has been pleased to make the following regulations.

1. Short Title. These regulations may be cited as the North Eton Sugar Mill Suppliers' Committee Insurance Monies Regulations 1988.
2. Unexpended monies. (1) The North Eton Sugar Mill Suppliers' Committee is hereby authorised to utilise for administrative purposes the sums of money as remain unexpended from the proceeds of particular levies made by the Committee pursuant to the provisions of regulations 1455, 1469 and 1484, published respectively in the Government Gazettes of 23rd June, 1979, 7th June, 1980 and 23rd May, 1981:
Provided that if not less than twenty per centum of the growers who supply cane to the North Eton Sugar Mill make on or before the nineteenth day of November, 1988 in writing to the Minister a request for a poll on the question of the utilising of the unexpended sums of money for administrative purposes of the Committee, a poll of all growers who are suppliers of cane to the North Eton Sugar Mill shall he held by the Returning Officer, Department of Primary Industries, and if upon the taking of the poll the majority of the votes is against the utilising of the unexpended sums of money for administrative purposes of the Committee, the unexpended sums of money shall not be utilised for such purposes.
(2) Where a poll is required to be held, the Returning Officer shall post by prepaid letter to every person whom he knows to be or who

Are you in favour of or against the utilising by the North Eton Sugar Mill Suppliers' Committee for administrative purposes of the sums of money as may remain unexpended from the proceeds of particular levies made by the Committee pursuant to the provisions of regulations 1455, 1469 and 1484, published respectively in the Government Gazettes of 23rd June, 1979, 7th June, 1980 and 23rd May, 1981?

Note.-This ballot-paper is to be completed and posted to the Returning Officer, Department of Primary Industries, Brisbane, so as to reach him not later than 5 p.m. on (insert date).
Each grower shall complete his ballot-paper so as to indicate his vote and shall enclose and seal the ballot-paper in an envelope marked on the outside with the words "North Eton Sugar Mill Suppliers' Committee Levy" and shall sign and state his name and address on the outside of the envelope and shall post the envelope to the Returning Officer, Department of Primary Industries, Brisbane, so as to reach him not later than 5 p.m. on (insert date).
A ballot-paper which is not received by the Returning Officer within the prescribed time or which is not filled in so as to indicate clearly the voter's intention or which is not received in an envelope, the outside of which is signed by the grower and shows the grower's name and address, shall not be counted.
The Returning Officer shall cause the ballot-papers which are received within the prescribed time and which are in order, to be counted, and shall certify to the Minister the result of the poll and shall publish a copy of the certificate in the Government Gazette.
