Any person who breaches or fails to comply with any such condition is guilty of an offense against this Act.

In any proceedings under or for the purpose of this Act or in any proceedings (whether civil or criminal and whether or not there is any affidavit or statutory declaration (including any application or notice) made or given to or filed with a clerk under or for the purposes of this Act shall be sufficient evidence against every person who signs the same of the truth of all particulars set forth therein; v) Service of any process, document or writing at the place registered under this Act, such as where the that a newspaper is or is to be printed, shall be deemed sufficient service thereof upon the persons respectively registered under this Act as the proprietor, printer or publisher of such newspaper; vi). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Act, if a person who has made an affidavit or statutory declaration or who is referred to in an affidavit or statutory declaration under or for the purposes of this Act, touching a newspaper, applies to the registrar with whom that affidavit or statutory declaration was filed a notice in the form of a further statutory declaration stating that he is no longer associated.

The provisions of The Oaths Acts 1867 to 1924, with any necessary modifications, apply and extend where possible to every application and notice made or given, as the case may be, under or for the purposes of this Act.
