THE STATE HOUSING ACTS AND ANOTHER ACT AMENDMENT ACT OF 1953, 2 Eliz. 2 No. 25

An Act to Amend "The State Housing Acts, 1945 to 1950," and "The Workers' Homes Acts, 1919 to 1949," each in certain particulars.
[ASSENTED TO 18 DECEMBER, 1953]
BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-
PART I-PRELIMINARY
1. Short title. This Act may be cited as "The State Housing Acts and Another Act Amendment Act of 1953."
Collective title. The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as "The State Housing Acts, 1945 to 1953."
2. Parts of Act. This Act is divided into Parts as follows:-
PART I-PRELIMINARY;
PART II-AMENDMENTS OF "THE STATE HOUSING ACTS, 1945
TO 1950";
PART III-AMENDMENTS OF "THE WORKERS' HOMES ACTS, 1919
TO 1949."
PART II-AMENDMENTS OF "THE STATE HOUSING ACTS, 1945 TO
1950"
3. Construction of Part II. This Part of this Act shall be read as one with "The State Housing Acts, 1945 to 1950," herein in this Part referred to as the Principal Act.
Collective title. The Principal Act and this Part of this Act may be collectively cited as "The State Housing Acts, 1945 to 1953."
4. Amended Principal Act.
5. (1) Amended Principal Act.
(2) The amendment of subsection three of section twenty-four of the Principal Act made by subsection one of this section shall be deemed

to have been so made on the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

PART Ill-AMENDMENTS OF "THE WORKERS' HOMES ACTS, 1919 TO
1949"
11, 12. (Repealed).
Repealed by Act of 1961, 10 Eliz. 2 No. 13, s. 3 Sch.
