Twin Towns Services Club New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular
Event accessibility
At 9pm and midnight (NSW time) on New Year’s Eve (31 December 2022) there will be fireworks displays over the Jack Evans Boat Harbour. The event is being held in an open area, with footpath and broad-walk access for both pedestrian and assistance-required access. There are multiple viewing areas all around the surrounds.
Those with sensory requirements are advised there will be flashing lights and loud sounds associated with the fireworks display. If you or the kids are sensitive to loud noise, we suggest you pack some earplugs.

Access services
This event is accessible for those requiring mobility assistance devices and pedestrian access.
The Jack Evans Boat Harbour display can be viewed from the Chris Cunningham Park and also from anywhere in the surrounds with a line of sight to the Jack Evans Boat Harbour. Posters with QR codes will be available throughout the park during the display to access a map with viewing areas identified. Anyone attending that requires a safe space or time out is urged to please seek staff patrolling the event or at the Twin Towns Services Club adjacent to the Chris Cunningham Park so we can provide any assistance or care you may require.
Getting here
Parking for the Jack Evans Boat Harbour display is available in the public carpark beneath the Twin Towns building accessed from Boundary Street and in the Mantra/Sebel Twin Towns carpark accessed from Stuart Street. Both of these carparks have disabled car parking spaces available.
There will be Traffic Control officers at the pedestrian crossings on Wharf and Bay St to ensure safe passage to and from the event from 8pm until 1am.
Mobility
There are accessible public toilets located near the Boundary Street carpark which will be available. Additional accessible portable toilets located at Chris Cunningham Park will be provided for the Jack Evans Boar Harbour event.
Accessible seating
There is only limited seating in these areas surrounding Jack Evans Boat Harbour, anyone attending is advised to bring their own seating
arrangements.
