RULES FOR THE LIBRARY, MUSEUM, AND GROUNDS.
The Library is open every week-day from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The Public have free access to thc Library.
No books may be, for the present, taken out of the Library, except for the purpose of illustrating any Lecture, or tor the use of any Professor in his department, or in his chambers ; provided that, in tho first two instances, any book so taken out be returned to the Library at tho close of the Lecture, or when no longer in use; in the last, that it be not removed from the Library before 4 p.m., and that it be returned the following morning before 10 a.m.
Any Professor removing any books from the Library shall enter their names, with tho dates of removal and return, in a book to bo kept for that purpose.
No person shall make any mark in or upon any book, or fold down a leaf, or otherwise deface any book belonging to the Library; and, in making extracts, no one shall lay the paper on which he is writing on the book he is using.
No ink is allowed to be used at the Library Table.
Strict silence shall be kept in the Library.
MUSEUM.
The Museum is open to the public daily, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from March 21st to September 21st, and to 0 p.m. from September 21st to March 21st. .
VISITORS TO THE GROUNDS.
1. Visitors are admitted to thc Grounds of tho University on Sunday, from 1 o'clock p.m. till sunset, and on other days between tho hours of 7 a.m. and 0 p.m.
2. Visitors are requested to observe propriety of dress and conduct.
3. Visitors are requested—
Not to walk on thc beds or borders.
Not to touch thc flowers, trees, shrubs, or plants, or to injure the scats.
Not to remove or deface the marks or labels.
Not to speak to or otherwise interfere with the laborers.
4. Smoking in the grounds is positively prohibited.
5. Children unattended by any adult are not admitted.
