Aaron, a sheepish, twenty-something NFT investor must return to the family farm he fled as an abused 18-year-old, at the behest of a letter from his dead mother. His plan: get his fading father, Donnie, into the arms of retirement home living. When Donnie’s fiery disposition rears its ugly head, his tone growing more violent with every one of Aaron’s attempts to quell his concerns. Everything comes to a head when Donnie declares that Aaron would be better off putting him directly in the grave.

This is the final straw, the one that broke the camel’s back, Aaron snaps, taking that hyperbole and moulding it into a suggestion, launching into a violent attack.

Next thing we know Aaron is hauling ass across the farm’s pasture after his father.

After a violent struggle, the tables are turned, as Aaron finds himself fleeing into the night, pursued by his unnaturally adept father. Donnie eventually hunts down his fleeing son and leaves him with a horrific injury from which Aaron must recover and attempt to fell his titanic father and escape the farm once more.

Empowered by the keys to her new apartment,

Diana Nguyen makes the snap decision to leave her abusive mother’s house when her mum, Phuong, threatens

Diana’s last artwork—a miniature model cottage.

Enlisting the help of her friend-with-a-car, Linh, Diana manages to escape with the mini-cottage intact.

But Phuong gets in her own car and pursues them, triggering a wild car chase through the suburbs of Brisbane. The chaos escalates until Diana is forced to stop the car and confront

Phuong, who believes abusing Diana is justified by their culture. Mid-

screaming match outside of a Vietnamese restaurant, Diana accepts her relationship with her mum is not

salvageable and she must prioritise her own happiness.

During a visit to the TRIUMPH Space Centre with her wife and child, Angel breaks into TSC’s data archive seeking answers. Disguised as a maintenance robot, she encounters Andrews, a seemingly complaisant AI system that shadows her as she searches the records.

Angel soon discovers that things are not as they seem, and that TRIUMPH has been lying to the entire world. What follows is a nail-biting game of cat and mouse as Angel fights to uncover the truth against all odds. Salvation is about family, morality, and sacrifice.

We follow the story of Maie and Jack, a young couple desperately trying for children. After months of negative results, Maie decides to book the pair into a fertility clinic. But Jack has reservations about the tests: he worries that the weight of knowing who is infertile will tear their loving relationship apart. At the baby shower of Maie’s sister, Jack is continually interrupted as he attempts to voice his concerns to Maie. Throughout the day, Maie and Jack are exposed to families that are unconventional in nature, including adopted children, single parents, and dysfunctional relationships. Jack eventually confronts Maie, and they agree to forget the tests and pursue other ways to create the family of their dreams.

In 1982 the Queensland Government approved a rural subdivision of 1,137 lots: excluding

two-thirds of the Lowland Daintree Rainforest from World Heritage Listing and releasing

an obscene amount of pristine rainforest into the hands of developers. ‘The Buyback’

is the story of the heroic conservationists working to purchase this land back, to return it to the traditional owners, the Eastern Kuku Yalanji Bama, and to protect it forever

under World Heritage listing. Through interviews with James, along with ecologist

Kristopher Kupsch, former mayor of Douglas Shire Mike Berwick, and Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation Chair Michelle

Friday-Mooka, the confronting history, and hopeful future of the Daintree comes to

light.‘The Buyback’ seeks to raise awareness for an issue that, to date, has gone largely

unnoticed by the greater public,

despite its incredible importance, and to put into

perspective the feasibility of the mission and galvanise people to support the movement.

He investigates why Medicare does not cover trans healthcare, and how this lack of financial accessibility takes a massive toll on transgender Australians. Through intimate interviews with trans people struggling for the care they desperately need, a leading professional in Australian trans healthcare, and a trans politician, Kai uncovers a loving and powerful community committed to making healthcare more accessible for all.

You could settle down, raise a family, or enjoy a night out on the town… That was until March 8, 1973, when the Whiskey Au Go Go nightclub was firebombed. Fifteen people died in the tragedy. The Whiskey Au Go Go massacre redefined the seemingly innocent city of Brisbane. Crime and corruption were brought to the forefront of everyday life. For decades, the events of that horrific night have remained a tangled web of lies and deceit. As told through the perspective of Associate Professor Mark Lauchs and renowned Fortitude Valley Photographer Nick Oughton, the truth surrounding Brisbane’s seedy underbelly will finally come to light.

A young disabled boy struggles to keep up at school and find his place. Navigating busy hallways on crutches proves just as difficult as learning algebra or trigonometry in class. Despite his difficulties at school he excels in his passion for Origami. A few folds and a couple creases is all it takes to create just about anything at all. Everything changes when an origami horse of his springs to life. While his newfound mystical companion is eager to help, it might just end up getting him into more trouble than he asked for.
